Over priced room , nice location. Early check out -10.30 on w/e- but spent 30 mins querying payment
Over priced for quality of room.
Got standard room at £125 for double, although the main old building was nice this room wasn't up to much for this price in a remote location. Shower room was newly done but warm ,not even hot ,water took 15 mins to run through shower. Robes nice touch though, but no bottles of water left in room. Very noisy corridor and thin walls. Bar in old part cosy but restaurant in extension soulless , closing the view of the garden off by closing blinds didn't help. Food at dinner was expensive but good and service was good. Maid tried to get in room without knocking before we had left which is poor.
Very comfortable bed my only complaint was the thin walls with very noisy neighbours.
If we stay again we will ask for a room in the castle.
