Hotel is ideally placed for exploring Bristol and nipping over to Wales, situated in a quiet countryside location close to M4 and M5.
During three of our four nights there were weddings and wedding receptions taking place so sometimes the lounge and bar areas were fully occupied by wedding guests and a bit of noise from the disco's. Bit disappointed that our family room was only really set up for two people, so only two sets of towels ,teacups. one soap and shampoo etc. This was put right first night but reverted thereafter. No attempt to supply bedding for the pull out sofa prior to our arrival. Staff were friendly and will put things right, but you need to ask all the time. Breakfasts were good quality.
The grange Mercury hotel bristol
A very uncomfortable place to stay .
I booked this hotel for a surprise for my wife's 40th we also took our seven year old daughter .we were booked in to a classic room which was so hot it was un bearable we were given a tiny fan , we were also located next to bridal party , all we could hear was a disco banging away till 1am none of us could sleep followed by banging doors shouting laughing all nite . We had no sleep , to top it off a drunk lady knocked in the door at 8am in her bra and knickers .
We purposefully booked this hotel to travel to Longleat safari park for the next day but with us all having no sleep decided to return home.
We were not told this hotel would be entertaining wedding guests, we were not told we were situated in a location of wedding guests especially with a young child .
We feel very let down by laterooms and the hotel for no communication regarding the stay at the hotel.
