De Vere Cranage Estate

The room was nice enough but definitely in need of updating and refreshing - various snagging issues in the bathroom such as tiles that were broken around the bottoms of the walls.

Could be easily dealt with and would make for a more luxurious experience. More pillows would be nice as well. Also only one hot chocolate sachet provided but there were two of us so one of us missed out. Also one pack of biscuits between two of us is not enough really. The toiletries were quite nice though. Better sign posting in the hotel to the restaurant would also be appreciated. I think the front of the hotel is lovely and with a bit more effort and a few extra touches this luxury feeling could be continued to the other rooms despite their modern build.

For the money paid it was great value.

Peaceful and tranquil even with a wedding and mayors dinner on.
