We received a lovely welcome on our arrival but that where the positive experience ended.
When we entered our room it was very dated and dirty. The room would have benefited from a deep clean and the drinking cups were still dirty from the previous guest. I was put off trying breakfast when I was presented with toast and individual butter packs that had been have half eaten by a previous guest. When booking this accommodation for an over night stay the reviews were very good. The only reason I can think off for the drastic decline in service would be that there has been a change of ownership. There are numerous certificates on the wall for the excellent standards they have achieved in the past but I certainly didn't experience them. A real pity really as the customer service on arrival was good and all other issues could be really easily rectified with a real good clean and a little extra care given to the finer details of running a B&B.
Room only services properly once after I asked for clean towels.
No cooked breakfast, all we got was cereals and toast, very poor. Would not recommend to anybody.
