The Bull Stanford Dingley
Arrived at about 9:15 in the evening, it was dark and had difficulty walking around the place because the lighting was so bad, almost tripped from the carpark to the room.
Found my way into the bar and filled in the guest form. Was informed that it was room only and to check on the back of the form for breakfast choices and time, I chose full English and 8am which was the earliest I could get and it would be £12.00 I knew breakfast was not include but thought £12.00 was a bit steep. I was very cold in the room and the heating must had turned off at some point although there was a radiator in the bathroom it did not seem to come on at any point. Next day went into breakfast at 8am was asked if I would like coffee which was good for me by almost 8:15 I had to ask if breakfast was forthcoming as I had a busy day, it would be a couple of minutes was the reply and sure enough it came the breakfast was fine, a bit of a mish mash but fine. There was no offer of toast, cereal or anything else just a fry up. I finished and asked to pay and was given the bill to include an extra £2.80 for the coffee, I was shocked and said she must be joking. I don't really think they have the first clue how other places treat their customers but they could learn a thing or two. I would never by choice stay there again.
Rooms are outside pretty dated no Wifi. No security Horrific night
I will start with positives food and staff were great.
Room was dated and in need of modernising. No phone signal or wifi or phone in the room. Shower barely worked either. I also had someone try to break into my room after midnight frightening without any phone. I was told by the breakfast chap one of the staffs friends probably did this. I didn't get any sleep after this and had to pay full price not impressed!. Well I wouldn't recommend any person there own staying here!
