Wee trip away ....

Very clean room comfy bed nice decor as it had just been redecorated.

Staff were polite on arrival. As there was a wedding reception on the usual steak night was cancelled so we ate fish and chips next door which were very nice. Bathroom was very small as was the shower with no where to hang up shower gel and as shower was built into the ceiling my hair got soaked also no room to pick up anything that was dropped otherwise it was a decent shower. Last morning we felt hurried at breakfast as they had decoraters in painting and they started before breakfast was finished this was just after 8am so we were not late down for it. Breakfast it self was ok nothing special but plenty on offer. Second day the cleaner had been in our room tidied up but left no coffee or milk and a cup that had a break in it so it leaked ..... basic clean accomodation ..

My experience at the Sun Hotel..

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room we stayed in was beautifully furnished and very clean.

The food was delicious, we had the Northumbrian breakfast both mornings that we stayed and it filled us up for the rest of the day. We dined in the Resturant on our last night and we weren't disappointed, the Sea bass was mouth watering. The only slight negative about our stay was the fact our room was directly above the bar and it was quite noisey at night, although once the pub closed it cleared out quickly. We would definitely stay again.
