Captains Lodge

B&B was well positioned for the walk to the PAVILLION for the film festival.

And was easy to find across the road from the church of St. Hilda. The hospitality that greats you is only enhanced by the warm and well kept premises that are tactfully furnished and well maintained. Once you have gone through the formalities of booking in and been given your room. Your hosts are very helpful with local information and tips to help you, for what ever reason you a visiting. There is a small walk in to the top end of town but with a minimum of reencountering it is easy to get your bearings where ever you wish to go. If your time is your own the relaxed atmosphere and easy of entering & leaving makes it a perfect base of operations to explore the many facets of Whitby and what it has to offer. I'm sure I will use the Captain's Loge again in the future.

Captains Lodge

Rooms were clean enough just a little bit old and tired.

Owner was lovely and the cooked breakfast was also lovely.
