Needs a facelift but acceptable.
The hotel needs new carpets our room (No7) carpet was nearing end of life and poorly maintained.
Décor poor a lick of paint just not good enough. This is an old building and has all the hallmarks, creaking floor boards/ worn door locks/ dated electrics/ worn shower attachments/ dirty extract fans in en suite's. On the plus side excellent friendly staff / close to town centre/ great for parking/ nice and warm/ close to rail station. Breakfast excellent choices. Finally would recommend but to expect basics.
Good Value for the money
