Lovely pub/hotel

The room was lovely.

The breakfast was not all that good. It was obviously pre-prepared & heated up in the microwave. Bacon hard & sausages inedible, because you couldn't get your knife in them. Our friends with 2 children came for breakfast one morning & where charged £40. I think children should have been either FREE or a small charge. I'm gonna put I'd stay again, but the food needs sorting out. We had evening meal one night ours was fine but I could see other diners where returning stuff👿👿

Clean and welcoming

Room quite small and a bit pricey for that, but all clean and welcoming.

Quiet location. Rooms at front should have nice view over village green; those at back not so good. Food excellent at breakfast and dinner. Staff in bar and restaurant stretched but very hard-working and friendly.
