About the hotel
The Bulkeley Hotel enjoys a privileged location in Beaumaris, just mere yards from the beach and the pier alongside the Menai Straits. Built as a Georgian show piece in 1832, this hotel on the Isle of Anglesey now has 43 en suite bedrooms, a Fine Restaurant, Coffee Shop, Real Ale Bar and Bistro and Lounge. By staying at our hotel, you not only get comfortable accommodations but enjoy stunning views across the water to the mountains of Snowdonia.
Each of our bedrooms is equipped with amenities for your convenience such as free Wi-Fi, TV, writing desk and tea and coffee facilities. All of the bedrooms are serviced by a lift and there are facilities for the disabled guest. For the business traveller, the hotel offers a full secretarial service and meeting rooms for 2 to 100 people. The hotel can host civil weddings for you and make all of the necessary arrangements for your special day. The ballroom is regularly used for weddings and functions for up to 100 people. The Bulkeley Hotel serves 'a Taste of Wales' and prides itself on cooking the best of local produce creatively. We also provide free Wi-Fi in public areas and free parking.
You can start exploring the town of Beaumaris by walking two minutes to the 13th-century Beaumaris Castle. You can also stroll along the pier, do some shopping and interact with locals at the pubs. For more recreational activities, you can go on a 20-minute drive to Penrhyn Castle or venture some 30 miles to Snowdonia National Park and discover its many wonders. Llanfairpwll and Bangor train stations are less than 20 minutes away from the hotel. We welcome pets (£10. 00 per pet per night) in all rooms except the Luxury/ Superior Rooms and our Sea View Four Posters. They are also unable to go in our restaurants.
