This is a reasonable hotel but make sure you ask for an outside room as mine was like a cell with a very small window overlooking what seemed to be an internal courtyard which let in very little natural light and felt claustrophobic.
If you want a cooked breakfast be sure that your booking offers this as I thought mine did but apparently I was only entitled to a very limited "continental" style breakfast. I was initially sent to the wrong, occupied, room which meant me walking right back to reception to get another room allocated.
I had a very bad experience at travellers in oldbury.
No customer service skills at all. Was not greeted as I checked. They just took payment.had no sleep all night due to loud noises, music blasting, banging of doors and people talking very loud, this was up until 5am. Next day as I was staying another night I notified reception of these noises etc that accured during the night and I asked for another room as I wanted a decent nights sleep on the last night. The owner had not been sympathetic or said sorry or anything he just handed me a card for another room. I was very disappointed in the whole experience. Will definitely will not be staying ever again at this place. Waste of money.
