About the hotel
The Inn is located in the centre of Town but is sat in 2 acres of grounds to give you some tranquillity away from the hustle and bustle of the town. We are perfectly placed to accommodate you whatever your requirements from a family holiday, overnight Bed and Breakfast or just a weekend break. There is even room for dogs! Located in the largest and most historically famous of the Mid Wales spa towns Llandrindod Wells in the county of Powys and it still maintains an undeniable air of gentility with grandiose public buildings and the Llanerch Inn being centrally situated only a short walk from all amenities.
These include the spa waters, the picturesque lake and rows of quaint shops many still with Victorian fascia's. Llandrindod Wells is ideally situated for visitors stopping over en route to the North, South and West of Wales and the hotel benefits from being approximately three hours journey time from Manchester, Birmingham and London or even as a central base for further exploration of the beautiful surrounding areas of Mid Wales. If you are thinking of treating yourself or even you are just away on business, I feel certain that you will not be disappointed.

Breakfast not arranged, despite being offered.
Arrived at 8pm and managed to get some dinner, was served by two nice ladies and was offered to book for breakfast which I did, at the same time as a couple.
Room was fine. Good shower.
The smell from the old chip fat in the deep fat fryer was a bit off putting, as my room was above the kitchen and the door was open but managed to sleep. Came down to breakfast, nothing was set out, the manager did not even know people were staying and the chef was not even there. I passed the couple on the way in but they did not say anything, so I don't know how they felt about it. The manager said he would call the chef and it would not be long. He offered me coffee after a few minutes. After a few more minutes, having established that the WiFi code in the room is not right and getting lots of emails in but no coffee, I decided I could not wait for breakfast and told the manager.
I asked for more milk, as I had used the sachets up and he brought it to my room, which was nice but partly because he could not seem to find it and appeared to take money from the till and go and buy some?. So the manager knew my room was above the kitchen stairs, so when he moaned loudly about me to the chef, I could hear it in my room and the chef 's reply of what he should do about me.
I paid my bill and reported a bulb out in an internal corridor that made it very dark. One man said it was on order and had not arrived and the other said they lived in the country and you couldn't get bulbs there. (the inn is next to a large Tesco but maybe it's a special bulb but surely this a health and safety issue, especially in an old hotel). I felt like I went to bed in an inn and got up in Fawlty Towers!. No issues with the inn generally or with the female staff but they were not the ones running it.
