Staff very friendly.
The room very basic but good value for money.
A bitter disappointment
A special anniversary 3 day stay was ruined by this substandard room.
Not in the main hotel where the facilities are but in an annexe down the road. Nothing like the internet photos show. Broken glass in annexe door.
Lift that said it takes 4. Only took 2 with small luggage. Third floor room with no view had a door had been clearly kicked in and wood not properly replaced with some daylight showing. Hole in the wall where the door handle went in. Towels placed on toilet seat as no shelf to put them, glass sink shelf drooping so everything slid off it. Child size wardrobe with no room to hang an adult shirt or top without crumpling. Dent in the ceiling. No bedside tables. Whole bed moved if you leant against the headboard and pillows fell down the gap. Scuffs on the wall. My 7th time in Amsterdam and never seen anything like it. At £130 a night what a rip off.
