Dirty, loud and rude
My window opened onto a group of workman doing construction.
It was the one room in the hotel closest to the construction, and frankly should have been put out of service during this period. Every morning at 7, the drills and jackhammers began. The room was dirty. Requests to have the room cleaned resulted in the bedspread being thrown over the bed and nothing more. As I left the room, the cleaner finally was in the room doing his job, but would not leave to let me pack. He cleaned the room as he spoke loudly with a woman on speaker phone. Terrible experience. Just stay away.
Pleasant and local
The hotel is vey central and close to the trams making travel a lot easier.
The breakfast buffet, although without bacon (a personal preference of mine) supplied a hot and cold selection for everyone's tastes. The room was a good size as was the bathroom. Only downside was out room looked directly into scaffolding, which meant that during the day/late morning, you had visitors walking about by your window.
