Avon Guest House

I couldn't fault this guest house - a lovely experience from start to finish.

We stayed in a lovely room overlooking the street, but didn't find it noisy or have any problem sleeping, and had a fabulous (super?)king size bed, and an extra single. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room itself was cosy and well decorated. Similarly the bathroom was much bigger than I expected, and very modern. Lovely touches like full size bottles of Radox shower cream really made the experience. The owner Richard was very helpful - he came to let us in immediately when I phoned him on arrival, and stuck around to give us a whole host of restaurant recommendations (one of which we tried, and turned out to be a really lovely dinner!). He was very helpful, and willing to answer any of our questions, and help us out with anything we wanted. Overall, it was a perfect base to explore Warwick for the weekend, and always a pleasure to come back to and warm up. For the exceptional price, significantly less than anywhere else we looked at, I expected something fairly basic, but that was not at all the case, and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

Avon Guest House

A nice place to stay, staff were helpful but not in your face let you come and go as you want but there if you needed anything arrived after 3pm no parking spaces available at front but plenty of street parking for free in the Road behind the guest house just three or four minutes walk away.

St. Nicolas park is just across the way and has a nice cafe you can get breakfast in with a lovely view of the park.also you are about a ten minute walk into the centre of Warwick where you will see many places of interest and places to eat and drink.
