Very helpful team but hotel in desperate need of upgrade especially the threadbare mattresses.
The Royal Hotel
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately our stay was cut very short due to illness and we were so much looking forward to exploring around the area with lots of plans made. Anyway, sadly we felt our 'Superior Room' was less than standard never mind Superior. The furniture was very tired, dated, worn and in need of at least a good polish as were the bedside lamps. Bathroom was nothing special and the mattress was the most uncomfortable thing we've slept on. Can't review breakfast as we were unable to stay for it. Such a shame about the room because the hotel is ideally situated.
