Cardiff concert stay over
Big sleep cardiff is the perfect location if you want a good priced stay no luxury but a comfortable night sleep.
Room was not very clean, brown stains on the curtains and stains on the bathroom floor.
The chair was also dirty with hairs on it. Both mugs were dirty with cofee drips down the sides and lipstick?. The wall between my room and the room next door was poorly constructed and so I could hear every movement of the group of boys next door, there was a gap inbetween the window and the adjoining wall, it sounded as if I was in the same room. The sound of the doors in the hallway also echo through into the bedrooms, better materials should be used to ensure the bedrooms are as quiet as possible.
Great value, basic accommodation
I've stayed at The Big Sleep before.
It's basic, but everything you need is there - decent shower, comfortable bed and plentiful continental breakfast - and it's amazingly cheap for a city centre hotel. Car park was full but there was plenty of room in the NCP car park just fifty yards away.I was going to an event at the Cardiff Motorpoint Arena and the hotel is opposite the venue - perfect!
A lovely stay.
This hotel was perfect for a one night stay.
I would seriously book it again and come back it's close to everything in Cardiff town centre which is very good.
The hotel it's self was good, the bathroom was lovely and the room was really nice, also the bed was comfy.
The Big Sleep Hotel Cardiff By Compass Hospitality
It is a budget hotel, you get what you pay for, very basic, have stayed here lots & will continue to do so for the value, breakfast great for price.
Most of the staff really friendly & helpful, great location & parking if you get there in time to park outside reception.
All fine an a bit worn, but overpriced
Lovely staff, clean room.
All a bit worn, chip out the bedhead. large stain in bathroom. Despite the stag party the room was reasonably quiet. We overlooked the train line, but noise not a problem due to double glazing. Entrance poor - intercom at street level, with various signs telling you to walk up the car park ramp if no one answers, which was usually the case. Would be fine, but overpriced. I paid £15 more for a hotel in London last month next to Hyde Park (hardly an unfair comparison), with a large plush room and good breakfast. Undrinkable coffee coffee at The Big Sleep. Murdered croissant, overheated.
The Big Sleep Hotel
Worse Place Ever
The room was disgusting there were dirty marks all over shower curtain and the curtains for room were very dusty and like very old rugs hung up and there was no window to open.
also double bed was two single mattresses together and when I complained I was just told tell men reception staff in morning. Only staff member was a woman she was amazing. customer service that was the only good thing about hotel. I am very disappointed with my stay.
It was clean and comfortable
