The hotel did not even have a basic disabled policy in place.
The first room we were sent to I didn't even see to walk a very long way along a very narrow corridor, then we had to try to get round a very difficult angle with me in a wheelchair. That was all bad enough but for only one night could probably put up with it, then we realised there was about eight stairs to get down, my husband went to see the room and he said we had to go the same distance again but in the opposite direction. My husband went back to reception, and explained, I have to say the staff were lovely and give us another room which was a lot easier to reach, turned out it was a family room with four beds in it. The hotel is on a very busy main road, it does not have double glazing and the noise all night was unbelievable, got no sleep at all. I know this all seems very negative but I have to say staff were great, food was excellent, and entertainment was good also. I am going to put would yes to recommend to a friend, but this is if they did not have any mobility issues.
Hotel is very central with good facilities.
Reception staff are helpful and staffed 24 hours a day. We were on the 4th floor and there was a lift. May be difficult for less abled people as bar and entertainment are downstairs and no lift.
