Excellent stay!
We cannot praise highly enough the SACO apartments. The apartment was spacious, spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed - including a carton of milk so we could have a cup of tea on arrival! The staff were efficient, friendly and very helpful. We will look for SACO before any other hotel when we travel again.

Holiday in Jersey
My husband and I stayed in a studio apartment at SACO/Merlin House. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the room as well as the facilities. The room, the kitchen area and bathroom were all clean. The kitchen was very well stocked - they even had a cafetiere! They supplied a few starters like fresh milk in the fridge as well as instant coffee, tea and a few biscuits. The apartments are not very far from the port (1 mile??) and are in the centre of St Helier. However, they are off the main Esplanade - which is great as you will be away from the noise of the evening revellers. When we were researching where to stay, we noticed that other accommodation noted problems with noise. We didn't have this problem at SACO and our apartment was facing the street. We brought our bicycles with us and there is a locked shed behind the building to put your bicycles in. The apartment is located within easy access of the shops. There are a few convenience stores at the end of the road. There is also a Marks and Spencer food supermarket and a Co-op within 5 minutes walk - which we found handy as we could cook our own food in the apartment. There are also restaurants nearby. The staff, although not around much, are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Great quality apartment in a great location
Merlin House is a really nice, clean, high standard apartment in a really good location in St Helier. Can't fault the Apartment or professionalism of the manager.
The apartment is fully kitted out with everything you would have at home, although it would be a shame to cook, when Jersey has some fantasic places to eat out.
Parking is just up the road if you have a car, it's free after 5pm and all Sunday, Just put a few pay cards in the car ready for the morning if you want to lay in past 8am.
The welcome pack is a nice touch, with fresh milk in the fridge rather than the little UHT buckets. Spar and Checkers are a minutes walk down the road if you want supplies.
The town centre is just a few more minutes walk as is the bus station and tourist information.
I have a few negatives, which I should mention, however I must stress that none of those detracted from what was a great stay in a really nice appartment.
Wifi only connected occasionally even though good signal, when it did the free service was OK to check a few emails or a little web browsing to look for locla events.
The road facing apartment can be noisy when the pubs close, even with the double glazing.
Received no information at all explaining the apartments are unattended outside working hours, we were lucky they had accidently placed a sign in view with the door access code, which then let us call the local manager via the reception phone to get the safe code for the key. If it wasn't for that we sould have had to phone the UK to get a message to the manager or sleep on the street.
I had booked as a twin, however the apartment was set up as a double. Was impressed how quickly this was attended to by the manager, who came straight in out of hours.
Conclusion:
Would definately stay again and recommend the place to others.
