About the hotel
Welcome to our home! Torridon Guest House has been providing quality bed and breakfast in Inverness since 1970. We are within 5 minutes walking distance of Inverness city centre, where there is a wide choice of places to eat as well as live entertainment. It is a family owned B&B offering a range of double, twin and family rooms including en-suite.
Free Wi-Fi, TV with Freeview and DVD are available in all rooms, as are tea and coffee making facilities. Ground floor room is available for our less abled guests. There is private car/motorcycle parking, and in the morning, along with variety of fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurts, cheeses, and juices, you will enjoy a full hearty Scottish breakfast. If you are vegetarian, vegan, or on a special diet, please let us know and we’ll be happy to look after you. Inverness is a city on the North-Eastern coast of Scotland on the east end of Lock Ness, and calls itself the "capital of the Highlands". It is a fantastic place to base yourself for your holiday, whether you are following the whisky trail, walking, cycling, motorcycling, and dolphin spotting or looking for Nessie. Our guest house will give you the opportunity to explore the whole of the Highlands and also enjoy a variety of options for dining out and entertainment. Close by Inverness are Aquadome, Torvean golf course, golf range, tenpin bowling, indoor bowling, dolphin cruises, skiing, snowboarding and hill walking. "Inver" means "Mouth" and "Ness" refers to the River Ness, which flows through the centre of Inverness into Loch Ness. It flows from nearby Loch Ness and the Caledonian Canal and connects Loch Ness, Loch Oich, and Loch Lochy the canal continues to Fort William. Right by Inverness is the Moray Firth: the inlet from the North Sea, north and east of Inverness. It is the largest firth in Scotland. The Kessock Bridge spans the Moray Firth, connecting the city of Inverness to the Black Isle and the village of North Kessock and beyond to Dingwall, Ullapool, and to the east Thurso, Wick and John’ O’Groats where you can get a ferry to Orkney. An important day came for Inverness in the year 2001 when the town was granted city status - the first new city in Scotland for over 100 years, and in recent years it has proudly become one of Europe's fastest-growing cities and is frequently placed in the top five most desirable places to live in the UK for its quality of life (and lifestyle!).

4 of us stayed here overnight whilst on a Highlands Golf Tour.
We were well looked after and couldn't fault the place. Very clean and a great breakfast in the morning that set us up for our trip to Dornoch.
Super guest house close to the centre of Inverness
2 of us were looking for a place to stay in Inverness while touring on motorcycles.
This was ideal - parking for bikes away from the road, good clean accommodation and a fine breakfast that kept us going for most of the day. Just 5 mins from the centre of town too, so all things considered an excellent stay.
