Well my twin room consisted of 2 single beds haven't slept in a single bed since I was a young child.
The walls are paper thin could hear a couple getting it on which was very disturbing as I wanted to sleep. 1st hotel I have stayed in that does not have a fridge for the price your paying a night does not cut it.
We were greeted with a cute little cookie and were provided with more than adequate service.
We were both unfortunately ill but still managed to enjoy our stay. It was a beautiful hotel, well situated and a refreshing break. Will definitely be coming again sometime soon (preferably when we are not ill). Thank you!
Great stay although slightly disappointed.
Very impressed by the general feel of the hotel.
Smart and clean and first reaction to room was fantastic. I had paid extra for the king size bed suite and was incredibly disappointed. Felt an odd slump in the centre of the bed, then discovered it was two single mattresses pushed together with a sheet and topper holding them together. I felt incredibly disappointed and feel had I known this would be the case I wouldn't have bothered. Fantastic en suite though and incredible shower. They really do give you a cookie, too.
Great weekend break
Staff were really friendly. Room was just what was required, both enjoyed a good nights sleep. Locationwise it is in a great spot, short walk from the docks one way, and broadmead shopping the other. Would definitely go again!
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Bristol City Centre
We arrived early but were allowed in the room, close to the city, breakfast great.
Great customer service as soon as I walked in.
First time staying here, was welcomed by a very polite member of your staff and even got a hot cookie.
Bar and food were nice. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Can't fault anything, was ideal for a business trip for 1 night.
Very thin walls
Hotel and services were wonderful, room very nice however the walls are paper thin.
We could hear the to in the room next to us and their conversation. Ok during the daylight hours but no fun if you are trying to sleep. Would not stay stein because of this, despite everything else in the hotel being amazing
Great city centre hotel
Stayed in bristol just for the night after having spent the day at The Thermae Spa in Bath.
Great hotel, briilliant location for the Harbourside a 10 minute walk away. Lovely staff, room, and great breakfast. Will definitely stay again and use Laterooms, who managed to sort out a problem with my booking as well.thank you Lee.
I received a friendly, efficient welcome and lovely cookies on arrival.
The room was clean and tidy but unfortunately, the heating didn't work and shower drain was blocked. Staff were very professional and did not quibble about giving us a different room or moving our baggage. We had breakfasts, I dined in the bar and we both ate in the restaurant- good food, excellent service. Hotel is well placed for town centre, transport, quayside and attractions. Was disappointed to pay £7.50 nightly for parking for each of our cars, also thought in room tea and coffee provision stingy. Cookies on 1st night were a nice touch, but not a biscuit in sight after that. Overall would stay in the hotel again.
Clean, spacious hotel
Nice hotel in a good location.
Reception staff helpful and friendly, however would like to see domestic staff smile or say hello rather than look at you and then look away. Breakfast could be a little cheaper.
