Basic but friendly
The rooms are dated and could do with new bedding and bathrooms but they were very clean and the staff very helpful. It's not five star but isn't claiming to be so I think you get what you expect from looking at the website which is fair.

Friendly
We had the smaller budget room for two nights and it was fine. Clean and comfy. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The four course dinner menu was very good value and the food would be a reason for returning. It was cool in the dining area so a warm cardigan would be handy. The bar area could be brought more up to date but a pleasant stay overall.

Good location and nice staff but very overpriced
This hotel is in a good location for the airport and staff were very friendly and helpful. They had my room ready when I arrived at 11am and provided me with a continental breakfast in my room because I had to leave early.
However, it's rather old looking. Rooms are shabby and my shower was just a trickle...had to use the bath. Very overpriced considering I've stayed in much nicer hotels nearby for almost half the cost.

How very disappointing
I booked this last minute and was grateful to find a room for the night. However, although the website advised it didnt have a view from the bedroom - that wasnt a concern, I was there for business. However, the paper peeling off the walls due to damp, the sealant around the windows was black with mold - the shower room/toilet - you could only open the door about a third of the way as it was butting up against the sink. The hotel is old and very, very tired. If I had gone there on holiday I would have cried with disappointment. I ate at the hotel down the road as the bar/dining area was a throughback from the 60's. Breakfast - you were only allowed to sit at the table that corresponded with your room number. Would rather fly to Jersey for the night if it was the only accommodation available than stay in that place again.
