50% would recommend it to a friend
Hello - i stayed for both business and pleasure, starting the trip with a meeting with a colleague, and then the weekend my girlfriend joined me for a leisure weekend in Barcelona.
The hotels location is great, and what attracted me to the hotel, however i was very surprised to see this was a 4* hotel. There is no iron available in the rooms and they have not been updated for many years. The terrace in our room overlooked an ugly apartment block and the general decor throughout was certainly out of date. The pool was sold as a rooftop pool, which is also not the case and in the shade most of the day. I was very disappointing with the hotel.
Not cheap but ideal
At more than £800 for five nights I felt it was expensive and that price didn't even include breakfast but we did enjoy it.
It is perfectly placed for a walking trip to Barcelona and the staff all seemed really helpful and friendly
