The Hotel looks great from the outside but is little tired and worn out on the inside.
The staff are very friendly but didn't seem keen on wanting our custom for Christmas Day lunch as they already had some 300 guests booked. On another point, everytime we entered the hotel lobby you could smell the drains which is really off-putting, they need to get this addressed. The electricity kept 'tripping out' in the bedroom for some reason and you would be plunged into darkness (207) There is a roof top bar, which was only open some of the time that we were there ( 22-28th December) They leave the area open even when the bar is closed, so we took our own drinks up there, the views are great. Overall I was pleased with the Hotel and location which is a short distance from the main attractions and over the road from local transport, shops, cafes and restuarants. Tip: If you buy your Barcelona City Tour tickets at the Reception you get a discount of two euros each.
