Very reasonable nice hotel
Pleasantly surprised- large spread out hotel with a maze of corridors, but lovely bar/restaurant/ seating area. Spacious room. Good food, very nice rural location with nice looking grounds not too far outside of Blyth. Would probably use again at this price!

Staff were really friendly. Main area carpets a little tacky and could do with a clean. Food o.k. But thought it expensive for what was on the plate. Bed was really comfortable.. Enjoyed my stay.

double standarsd
Booked two nights in standard room with my wife.
First night the mattress was long past its best and slept really badly.
Asked for a move for the second night and stayed in a 'superior' room.
This was the standard I expected for the first room.
Response from reception was 'thanks for the information'. Don't book.

Only stayed for one night, nice room decorated well.Staff very helpful and made us feel welcome.Food was very nice and well presented.although restaurant and bar area was very quiet.Corridor areas were a little dated and could do with a bit of TLC,but on the whole was well worth the money.
