Airport Business stop over
Booked this hotel for myself and colleagues due to having an early morning flight and avoid the usual stress around the airport due road delays etc. Rooms are modern and tasteful with some having a Nespresso coffee machine - always a bonus!! The airport is about a 5-10 min walk to the Terminal via a covered walkway but also has decent parking.

Radisson Blu Hotel at Manchester Airport
I have stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel at Manchester Airport on numerous occasions both when travelling on my own and with my family when booked on an early flight.
As with previous visits, I was greeted in a very friendly and professional manner at check in and check out. The room was very clean and comfortable and up to the usual high standard.

Sleepover ahead of early flight.
I believe this is the only hotel within Manchester airport. Others require a long walk across busy roads or the use of a shuttle bus. We stayed overnight to avoid getting up at 5am to get a taxi for our 7am check in. We checked in for our flight at 7am and went back to the hotel for our breakfast. Only 10 minutes walk each way. Saved trying to find somewhere nice to eat at a sensible price in the airport lounge.
Lovely room, huge comfy bed and nice bathroom. No views except for a warehouse roof, but it was dark!
Breakfast, buffet style, was disappointing. Food dishes had not been replenished recently and no choice of eggs except scrambled and no one about to offer to fry one or make am omelette. Had to catch a waitress's attention to ask for coffee.
We had called in a week earlier to weigh up the various hotels. The Radisson said they had no rooms available for less than £140 ish without breakfast. I was all for booking somewhere else but on the train home I found I could book it for less than £100 with Laterooms, breakfast included. Not the way for Radisson to treat walk-in customers, in my view.
