Good place to stay at for business or a connection to somewhere else.
Good breakfast as well!
Good bits: Friendly Welcome, Decent sized room, Comfy bed with nice soft bedding, allowed me to check in early (very welcome after an early flight).
Not so good bits:
No hot water in the morning (lots of apologies, no offer of compensation), TV remote didn't work, personally I don't like having to leave my key at reception every time I go out, no plug sockets next to the bed
Stayed here for one night on my first visit to Newcastle and I would definitely stay again when I return.
I arrived later than planned and got such a friendly welcome. The room was a dinky wee single room, with a single bed, tv, en-suite bathroom and the usual hotel amenities. Exactly what i needed for the stay. The bed was so comfy I had a good sleep, I did get really warm during the night but I think that was just me because it happens when I am at home. Jesmond was a nice area within walking distance of the centre and the metro. Not much street either. Breakfast was so good with friendly service, actually ate too much. Overall I enjoyed my stay even if it was short and hopefully will be back.
Convenient, clean, comfortable, friendly, good value, no hassles, good wifi, would recommend without hesitation.
Room was nice, shower quite big, etc.
Staff were helpful, hotel decor attractive. Internet access is only available at the reception & rooms at top of the building are up 3 flights of stairs so check where your room is first if you have any problems with stairs - no offer of help with suitcase
