Had a lovely two night break here in a family room, which actually was a lake facing suite, really pleased with the room.
awful single room next to lift and stairwell noise all night long, ensuite like an ice box
room, service and facilities poor, however the food was excellent
Chilled and relaxing break
As ever, the Lodore offers everything we were looking for on our short break.
Tranquil location, relaxing hotel, friendly staff, lovely accommodation and excellent food. Just lovely.
Booked hotel for our wedding anniversary as it was in such a lovely location.
Service was generally friendly and efficient. Room was a little small but comfortable. My wife loved the Xmas decorations and baques. Would stay there again. Easy for us to get out into the countryside and relax.
Luxury in the Lake District
Lovely hotel, with adjacent waterfall.
Bird feeders in the garden are a delight with lots of wild life. Breakfast and dinner very good. The spa and outside hot tub were wonderful. The only niggle was the additional charge of £3.50 at breakfast for smoked salmon and scrambled egg. This seemed a bit petty given the quality of the hotel generally and the cost of accommodation.
two day break
the was missing a luggage rack.
also we nave never experienced such low moral within the staff.and in reflected in there abruptness and manner .
