Was woke up by a loud bunch in the early hours & then what sounded like a couple having intercourse an hour later ...
then followed by another loud group early in the morning, considering i was there for just one night i was very annoyed to have only got a few hours sleep !.
Lovely room overlooking a courtyard with fountain.
The evening meal at King's Grill to celebrate my son's 18th was amazing, and the breakfast with egg station and live music was lovely, thank you!
Stayed here last weekend it's a lovely hotel with beautiful gardens.
We asked for a quiet room and were in the Kings quarters unfortunately we had a party of very noisy ladies next door who squeeled and laughed until abt 2am both nights so got no sleep!. The restaurant was visited on the first night and the staff were excellent. We had a lovely soup to start and the main was gnocchi with mushrooms and garlic sauce it was simply delicious. The breakfast was also very good a vast choice and something for all. The receptionist Whitney was very polite even though she was on her own and very busy
Stayed for 2 nights at this hotel.
Could not fault it. Staff very helpful, very big plus point on arrival they had given us a complimentary upgrade. Room was lovely and very clean. We would definitely stay here again.
Short notice city break
The Queen Hotel is quite grand and well located for the city centre, however parking at the hotel is £15 per night so would be pricey for a longer stay.
The room service food was very good although very overpriced and breakfast was average although there was a good choice. The staff were all very helpful and friendly even though they were stretched due to a large wedding taking place that weekend. Overall not a bad hotel, although we did think it overpriced despite it's location.
A fabulous hotel
What can i say other than ALL the staff could not do enough for anyone, even as there were 3 weddings going on!.
Food was excellent too!. My friend and I loved every minute of being in the hotel!. It is very handy for the train station and not too far away from the City Centre.
BEST WESTERN PREMIER Queen Hotel
We stayed for a birthday and we were upgraded, our room was fantastic and clean.
I thought the prices for breakfast to be had in the room were a bit over priced but other than that we loved it.
Having paid £294 for one night, I thought we had booked a luxury hotel room.
There's no doubt the hotel was very nice - a grand old building. The let down was the bathroom. The shower had less power than a constipated kitten. There was mould around the shower screen and suspect looking marks under the toilet rim.
If you decide to spend top money on a hotel room then you'd expect better than this!
Stayed one night before joining The Northern Belle.
The staff were very pleasant especially Iwan, Clean & comfortable. Delicious breakfast.
BEST WESTERN PREMIER Queen Hotel
Hotel was lovely, we arrived at hotel early, our room was ready and we also got a free upgrade, easy walking distance to city centre, and short drive to chester zoo.
Parking charges were a bit overpriced in my opinion, room and food werelovely, had fabshort break and I would fully recomend this hotel.
