A good short stay
From the outside the hotel is very impressive and stylish.
The same standard of style doesn't meet the style of the rooms as they are a little dated and bit tired . The room was good though although there were coffee spills on the bedside table which j had to clean. The lighting was very poor and room appeared dingy on a night. I had the breakfast and it was better than some hotel breakfasts I have had but the food was a tad cold.
Great location for arena and good hotel
I try to stay here for concerts - great location with good efficient and friendly staff
Jurys Inn Newcastle
The beds and pillows are very uncomfortable in room 341.
Jurys Inn Newcastle
There is no car parking at the hotel.
Rooms are quite basic really for the price more like a premier inn. Very noisy neighbours at 4 am. The location is great if you are attending a concert. We ate in the hotel restaurant as we were short on time and the service was fairly slow , staff seemed a bit unsure what they were doing. Breakfast was nice. On the whole not a bad hotel but very pricey which I suppose you have to expect for a city centre on a weekend.
Lovely hotel, nice rooms, very central.
Will definitely stay here again.
One night stay for a gig
We only stayed one night, didn't eat but did visit the bar.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was nice and clean. Bathroom was a bit tired but water pressure in the shower was great. Hotel is in a really great location.
Nice Central Hotel so good for business or the town centre
Had a very nice quite room with a bath which I like; staff were friendly and the morning requirements to fetch taxis the many taxis needed was well organized.
The super-foods salad was not as exciting as it sounded but the breakfast was good
Overall very good but car park a big zero!
Ideal location and no problems with anything other than the car park.
We were directed to what can only be described as a second hand scrap yard type of park area close to the hotel where cars were literally being 'jammed' into.Indeed my car was scraped when I parked it, under the directions of the chap there. This park is called ARENA SQUARE and had a Jurys Inn sign outside. When I asked on checking out why I was directed to this particular park rather than the multi story opposite, a receptionist said I should have been told about both parks. However, the staff do appear to be promoting the car park we were directed to because three other sets of hotel guests were collecting their cars at the same time as we did. My customer service rating is based solely on the 'car park issue' otherwise everything else pretty good.
2 night stay
would be difficult to find fault with this hotel
We used this hotel to watch a gig at the metro arena.
Beds were comfy, room was clean, staff were friendly and gave us all the information we needed for our stay. Perfect location and excellent value for money. I use this hotel every time I come and visit Newcastle.
