worst hotel i have ever stayed in
my experience was poor from start to finish.
the receptionists were too busy talking to each other than to check people in or out, as was the restaurant staff - there were tables with dirty dishes on the tables when i entered the restaurant and they were still there an hour and a half later when i left. i later had stomach ache and hoped the hygiene in the kitchen was better than the restaurant but didnt chance eating breakfast. the room was the smallest double room i have ever stayed in, no problem except the heating was on and the thermastat on the radiator didnt work as it was so old so no way of shutting the heating off. i left my window open but the hotel is in the flight path which i knew previously but i didnt expect to have to keep my window open. i thought eventually they must switch the heating off but no i had to ring down at 1.30am as i still couldnt get to sleep with the room being so small and the heating on, the porter came up and agreed as there was no markings on the thermastat he also didnt know if it was off and his only advice was to leave the window open - which i already had. other minor faults in the room which i can live with but were unconvenient. as i was stopping here for work it is a good job i was in bed in a lovely hotel the night before at 8.30pm or i dont know how i would have functioned.

Normandy Hotel, Renfrew
This is a good hotel to stay in near the Airport.
There is a courtsey shuttle bus which runs frequently. Rooms fine and plentiful hot water etc. Would recommend to stay if flying to and from Glasgow Airport.

We have stayed at Normandy a few times and have always enjoyed it as all the staff are very helpful.
On arrival at the Normandy, they did not have our booking inspite of having booked through Late Rooms 10 days ahead.
Eventually we were allocated a room which we found to be already occupied. Next room we could not get the card key to work, Had to get help twice. Very poor.
Ideal for travellers
WE use the Normandy for a number of years now, whilst travelling oversees.
Nice rooms are available at a decent price and you get the bonus of 14 days car park too.
