Days Inn Gretna Green - M74
I got a great deal on a two night stay.
The room was good and the location was ideal for sightseeing.
Was greeted by a lovely women who was helpful.
The room was basic but had what you needed. The shower was hot and clean. Couldn't hear any traffic from outside. Would defiantly use it again.
The staff were friendly.
Room was a great size and very clean.
Have stayed here a number of times.
Convenient for visiting family in the local area. Rooms are spacious, a bit run down but clean enough. For price and convenience it can't be beaten.
Bad night sleep
We were upgraded to an executive, the room had no working tv and someone's dinner left in the fridge.
When we complained we were moved to a standard room. It smelt of cigarettes even though it was a non smoking room it also smelt damp the heating was poor. The door to the bathroom didn't shut properly and the handle was falling off. The bed was so soft we kept rolling into the middle gad a really bad nights sleep. Suppose you get what you pay for, however a b&b would have been the same price and cleaner. Lesson learned will not stay at a services hotel again.
Very basic but served its purpose for a hotel....
Enjoyed our recent stay at Days Inn .
Reception was friendly and obliging . Room was very clean and tidy . Must comment on how nice and warm the room and building was . Thanks .
Ian from Leeds
Used it as stopover to and back from Ayr.
It was ideal and excellent value. I wasn't looking for anything other than a bed for the night and it was perfect on that basis. Despite being near the motorway, it was quiet and peaceful.
