Britannia Airport Hotel, Manchester
Does what it says on the tin. Booked last minute and was haste free. Quick check in, clean room and had everything needed for a one night stay. Good value for money.

Maybe not for a holiday but a perfect and inexpensive stopover.
Good shuttle service for £6 return. Efficient and friendly check in. Reception area/bar not particularly impressive. Seems to be used by various itinerant workers for cheap accommodation. Very clean if dated room and archaic TV which didn't work. Alarm request never happened - good job I didn't sleep in!!

Does it's job
It's not the Ritz, or Hilton, or Ramada. But it's not their prices either. The bed was comfortable, the water was warm and the TV was ok (even if it was 300 years old). The kettle made tea and coffee making easy, and the bar and cafe area all seemed clean. For a bed that's close to the airport. It does it's job well.

Fine for a cheap 1 night stay although the "double bed" was small.
