very disappointed with quality of room, didn't live up to our expectations as it was extremely basic. The cooked buffet breakfast was atrocious and inedible as the bacon was so hard it couldn't be cut with a knife & fork, the scrambled eggs were slop and the hash browns were at least a day old

Top Notch
A very pleasant stay; the staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. Lovely bar area. The room clean and spacious. Only gripe was a buzzing noise coming from the circuit breaker.

Highly recommended
I booked and prepaid £49.50 for a single room on LateRooms. What a bargain! The room was admittedly pretty small, but spotlessly clean with high quality bed linen and all essentials, including toiletries, hairdryer and tea/coffee provided. A modern television and a comfy bed made this a very pleasant stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was quiet although it is conveniently situated very close to Nottingham City Centre and almost next door to the Castle. Highly recommended by me.

Excellent location, good value for money, would stay again
the only negative comment would be that the rooms were small. Otherwise, a good place to stay, in a good location with friendly and helpful staff.
