Two lovely evenings at Hunters Crook Lodge
Hunters crook lodge only opened in June this year so everything's brand new and spotless. It is set in a beautiful location right in the middle of some of the most interesting Roman sites on Hadrian's wall. The on suit rooms aren't massive but are plenty big enough, all with French windows leading out onto decking with fantastic views. The owners were very friendly and informative. The Breakfasts were excellent and we had our evening meals at the lodge as well, which were also excellent. we were very happy with our stay there.

Excellent Stay
Robin and Julie went out of their way to make an excellent stay at their newly opened lodge. The breakfast was very good and freshly cooked to order. I wished I had arrived earlier to enjoy dinner the night before. The room was pleasant with nice touches and immaculately clean, while the bed was firm and the sheets smelt nice. I shall certainly look forward to returning in the future and I hope they can keep up their own high standards.

Outstanding accomodation so close to Hadrian's Wall.
A recently opened, purpose built lodge. This, combined with Julia and Robin's extensive previous experience of delivering high quality traditional food and stylish accomodation meant we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in every respect. The bonus for us was the option of evening meals, very welcome after a walk along the wall just ten minutes drive away.

Fabulous accommodation not far from the wall
Owners were very welcoming, accommodation was excellent, views of scenery was breathtaking and the food was out of this world. This has been one of the best places I have ever stayed and I am keen to go back.
