100% would recommend it to a friend
could not have had a better welcome the accomadation was so well presented as was the breakfast.
We had not booked a meal but were given a satisfying plate of home made goodies.
We were taken by car to our next destination only to find we had left our sticks no problem they were brought to us. Serves was incredible. with all the extras that made it top class. Friendly , clean, and wonderful food.
A truly welcoming experience
Everything about Huntercrook Lodge was excellent.
Lots of little extra touches...we stayed just before Easter and we were given an Easter egg to take home. On arrival we were shown our very well appointed room ,then upstairs to a communal area with stunning views, tea and coffee on tap and a plate of homemade cakes. Perfect for those people looking for a bit of peace and quiet. Huntercrook is a hidden gem in a beautifully unspoilt part of England and it's true...Northumberland has vast, dark skies. Highly recommended
Very warm welcome.
Lovely and warm accommodation on a cold winters day.
My double room was really comfortable and very nicely decorated. There was tea, coffee, hot chocolate, spring water, biscuits and sweets provided in the room and an honesty bar upstairs in the dining room. Bathroom was super clean with good quality toiletries. Full English breakfast was well cooked with a great range of fresh fruit and cereals on offer as well. Would highly recommend this accommodation and will definitely stay again when in the area.
A fabulous place to arrive at after a long 300 mile drive, this is the nicest B&B I have ever stayed in & with the largest bed.
We even had a large bar of chocolate left out for us. Breakfast was delicious with a fantastic fruit & cereal buffet , Robin was an excellent host. The views were stupendous & it was lovely to see such cared for animals as well. We will be back for a longer stay once we relocate to the area.
We stayed at Huntercrook lodge between Xmas and New Year.
The property was easy to find off the A69 and was only a very short distance from Vindolanda and Housesteads. As we approached the lodge we could see it from the road lit up with Xmas lights it looked magical. We were not disappointed the room was just as expected. The diningroom offered beautiful views over the hills whilst we ate breakfast. The choice for breakfast was good and the cooked breakfast was tasty.. We will be going back to see the hens, ducks and pigs and experience the peace and quiet soon.
