The Coach House is a superb Dinner, Bed and Breakfast Guest accomodation Located in Crookham, Cornhill on Tweed near Berwick In Northumberlnd. The Coach House is a 17thC dower house with a collection of former farm buildings located in rolling countryside. The traditional bedrooms upstairs in the dower house offer exposed beams and plenty of character. The tastefully converted bedrooms set in the sun filled courtyard offer spacious fully equipped and disabled friendly accommodation. The Coach House is located halfway between Newcastle and Edinburgh next to the A697, convenience is the key to allow easy access to all the treasures located in the 'Secret Kingdom'. The large vaulted residents lounge and bar features a great open fire with lovely views over the terrace and orchard, where Shetland Ponies graze beneath Damson trees. Complementary afternoon tea is served in the lounge to all newly arrived guests on a warm afternoon you can enjoy refreshments in the suntrap that is our expansive terrace. Breakfast is served in our 2 elegant dining rooms with period fireplaces, beams and feature windows. Dinner is available each evening by prior arrangment.

Little Gem
although I only stayed one night I was made to feel very welcome and that was great after a long journey , breakfast was very good and again nothing was to much trouble and would be staying again :)
