Excellent rooms - friendly hosts
Jacky and Roy ensured that our stay was very enjoyable - even storing our bicycles in their hall.
It was great to have our own lounge to relax in, the bedrooms were very comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was excellent - especially the Manx kippers. A great location for a short break.
Small B&B not suitable for disabled as rooms are up stairs
Jacky and Roy are prefect hosts, they make you very welcome, the breakfasts are superb
Owners where both lovely, freindly and helpful.
Apartments seemed a little tired. When we arrived there appeared to be some gardening activity at the front of the building including a spray bottle of weed killer on its side on the path, the front stayed half done throughout the duration of our stay, I picked up the bottle of weed killer at put it out of the way on the second day as a child could have picked it up. From the bedroom window we looked out on the back yard which required a general clean and tidy. Outside the front room window was a small balcony that had litter on it that stayed there the week. Have said that these where minor things that people notice, the breakfast was very good with everything cooked to order as required, I would use this accomation again as a base for a walking break in IOM.
A Great Welcome
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The accommodation was ideal for three adults being a suite of rooms and the hospitality of Jackie and Roy was exceptional - no request was denied from printing boarding passes to wondering how much our case weighed (a luggage scale suddenly appeared!)
Would definitely return if we go back to the isle of Man. One consideration is the hill up to the guest house from the front - treat it as good exercise if you can!
