Overnight stay
Excellent :Staff very efficient and helpful. The evening menu was adapted to our requirements as we are vegetarian. Excellent food and good value. Will return for a longer stay in this very interesting corner of the UK.

Lovely, well decorated, very clean room with a very nice breakfast the following morning. In an ideal location for spending time pottering around the beautiful Northumbrian beaches & towns.

Welcoming,friendly hotel
Enjoyed a very pleasant night at the Warkworth house hotel. The staff made us very welcome ,the room was lovely ,I think the higher the floor the quieter, the bar staff in particular were extremely pleasant .The restaurant was quite stylish and the food good, although it did seem to take an awful long time to appear on what looked like a quiet Monday night .Great breakfast .The only minus point at this hotel is the rather tiny car park ,it would be a challenge for the less proficient driver.Overall an enjoyable night in a very nice hotel that I would recommend.

One night in Warkworth
This was an extra night after a holiday further north. Everything about the hotel was very good. The service was attentive, the room very clean and comfortable, and a very good breakfast. Everything suited us just fine.

Excellent location and very clean room with lovely decor. Food was disappointing, 1 small portion of vegetables served between 2 and the lamb served was fatty, however this was refunded after staff asked about the meat.

A lovely experience
Here for 2 days exploring the area. parking was tight but we got in. Cosy and characterful property.Bedroom with 4 poster bed,new updated bathroom with bath and toiletries.Tea/coffee making facilities and flat screen TV on wall. Bed very comfortable and quiet at the back. Village busy road but pleasant walk to shops square and castle. Also old bridge and walk way beside the river.Food very good but portions rather small.Staff polite and obliging

Wonderful staff, lovely accommodation, not so great food
The hotel is very nice...we had an updated room which was lovely...fab bathroom.
However, the bedside lamps were not too good for reading....just not bright enough.
The whole place was spotlessly clean.
The staff were all amazing...very, very helpful and courteous and friendly at all times...thank you.
Although the breakfast was fine, unfortunately, the evening food was not too good...really basic food stuffs were not up to standard...eg almost burnt chips.
All in all a lovely place to stay..so much so that we stayed an extra night!
I'm sure we would love to return.

Comfortable, clean and welcoming.
The Hotel has been refurbished and is very clean and smart throughout. We ate lunch on arrival and also had dinner in the restaurant. The restaurant is very nicely presented and has the feel of a 4 star rather than a three star. The food was reasonably good; certainly much better in its presentation than pub grub. There was a good choice of fish dishes as well as chicken and other meat dishes.
Our room was small but very well equipped. It was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. There was live music on in the bar on the Saturday night. As a musician myself that was great for us but the sound traveled throughout the Hotel and I am aware several people complained, so check first if you want peace and quiet.
