Great place to stay, well appointed and central - so handy for the city centre attractions.
Staff were very welcoming and breakfast was very nice.
Will be staying again !!!
From the moment we entered the Indigo the staff were lovely, more than helpful with lovely pleasant attitudes.
The room was modern and spotless. comfy bed, nice warm room, shower. With all the little touches that make your stay feel special. The breakfast ticked all the boxes. Late 12 oclock check out with even the little things like you can leave your luggage safely while you shop till you travel home. Will be staying again !!
We arranged a last minute stay and found a deal on Laterooms.
The room was very small but the bed was so comfortable. The hotel exaggerate the Aveda toiletries and free mini bar. For two people we were provided with one tiny bottle of shampoo conditioner and shower gel.
The fridge offered a bag of crisps a Kitkat and two cans of diet coke. In my opinion it wasn't really anything special and not a deal breaker. It wouldn't entice me back.
Impressive hotel in great location
From the arrival, the customer service was fresh and friendly but not over the top.
The room was clean and modern with a huge bed (2 singles pushed together with a topper). The complimentary mini fridge was nice, although only has 2 x water, 2 cans of pop, a kit kat and a packet of crisps. The location is excellent, just 2 minutes walk to the station and 5 minutes to Bigg Market, Collingwood street and the shops of the centre. The check out time of 12 noon is very useful, especially after a heavy night. Only very slight negatives are that their is no mention of the cost of parking on the booking or website. It was £12 for the day/night which is good value, but should be communicated to customers. The shower looked impressive but was an underwhelming trickle. Lastly we ordered a continental breakfast, which was pretty disappointing. However, all minor points which did not detract from a very pleasant stay. Overall excellent hotel with very friendly staff. I will be staying again on my next visit to Newcastle.
good room and decent breakfast
very good throughout, and convenient location
Hotel Indigo NEWCASTLE
We upgraded as we had been booked into an assisted room.
The price of the upgrade was not worth it but had too has they hotel was full. The room was very noisy.
Weekend With Friends
First time at Hotel Indigo.
Quite disappointed with our room. Think it was an attic room as the window was tiny and I had to stand on my tiptoes to see out of it. Felt a bit claustrophobic. I've never stayed in a room like that. If I stay there again, I will ask for a room with a decent window. I also asked why the light around the bathroom mirror wasn't working and was told there was no light. Why was there a pull switch then??. Bathroom mirror very high up. Shower tray was a bit mouldy too. Have stayed in much better hotels. Food in restaurant is amazing though.
Hotel Indigo Newcastle
Room was nicely decorated, but disappointed there was no bath & the view was of a back lane & gambling shop.
Hope the price reflected this, as I'm sure there are other superior double rooms that are slightly better.
Hotel Indigo Newcastle
Staff were friendly and very helpful. The place was absolutely immaculate. Food was amazing. Shame about the views from some of the rooms but easily the best hotel I've stayed in. Already booked again for next month.
Nice good hotel in prime location very clean and worth every penny!
