We had an enjoyable one night stay at this hotel.
We were in the area for an event at the Event Centre in Harrogate and this was an ideal location. The hotel has a central location close to the lovely shopping centre.
Great quirky hotel, Jaz in the evenings
Really enjoyed this hotel.
Staff are absolutely brilliant. I have stayed in the Swan before but this was so much more personable.
Full of character will definitely return.
This little gem of a hotel offers fantastic service with great character.
From the minute we arrived they couldn't do enough for us, making our stay very enjoyable and relaxed. We only had breakfast which was fantastic and the waiter was very attentive even though they were very busy. We have heard the restaurant on an evening is top class too so we will be back !.
The Harrogate Brasserie Hotel & Restaurant
Excellent location and excellent food
The room was very clean but could have done with some updating
Lovely quirky little place, traditional type room, plenty of space, and very helpful staff means we would use again.
Unusual, quirky hotel.
Nice room, friendly staff, great food, in the centre of Harrogate.
Brilliant bar and dining area but slightly tired room decor
I stayed two nights here while visiting Harrogate for the exhibition centre.
I couldn't fault the warm welcome, the food was excellent, the bed comfy and the water hot. It was yards from the exhibition centre and also has its own parking area so my car was safe for the whole time of the visit. My room was on the second floor which meant stairs and three fire doors, the last one being quite heavy to push open, especially with baggage/shopping in hand. The decor in the bedroom was a bit funky with totally unrelated prints all over the place. Lying in bed showed that the ceiling paper needed to be stuck down again, and the wood panelling was rather dated. However it was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed to recover from the day's events. Live music is on six nights a week and the restaurant is busy. The food was imaginative and well served and as a single traveller I did not feel out of place. Dinner was £21 for two courses and the house wine-by-the-glass was of good quality (Merlot or Sauvignon Blanc). Breakfast included beautifully poached eggs and local produce, but I do prefer NOT to have to make my own toast although I recognise that this ensures each guest gets it hot from the toaster. Queuing for the toaster, to me, spoils the relaxing first meal of the day. I would definitely stay again despite my (hopefully gentle) criticisms. The food, the music and the long soak in the bath, gin in hand, outweighed any issues.
