Sue the owner, very helpful, friendly, nothing was too much trouble and she had excellent local knowledge. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The facilities were first class
The food and the service in the morning was excellent and very enjoyable
Typical TT stopover.
A warm welcome from a family run B&B.
The Hotel sits in a square with little parking and timed parking restrictions but no one seemed to mind how or how long the motorbikes were left after all its the Isle of Man where everything revolves around motorcycle racing, not sure how car drivers manage. The breakfast was very good, the room was ok we had a twin with a view of the alley and a small 5ft by 5ft bathroom into which was squeezed a 2ft 6 x 2ft 6 shower, toilet & hand basin but no bath. Plenty of Tea and Coffee. The downstairs backroom acted as reception, breakfast room and Evening Bar,the only food served at night being toasties although the Wicklow Hills has a sister Hotel 30 yards away you can use that serve evening meals and there are plenty of restaurants close bye, we had good Indian and Italian meals in easy walking distance . Redecoration is required but if your just visiting for the TT or Manx GP you wont spend much time in the Hotel hence my title Typical TT stop over. A Fair price for the I of M at Race Time.
