Pleasant staff, good value hotel near the train station
Modern, tidy and pleasant accommodation at the centrally situated Carlisle Ibis, which is close to the railway station and near to a multitude of bars, cafés and shops.
Value for money, particularly helpful and pleasant staff to my partner and myself.
Room was comfortable and modern, but lacked decoration and consequently felt a bit sparse. That's my only criticism though, so I'm happy to recommend this hotel for good value and pleasant service.

Ian - London
Clean, pleasant room, however air conditioning did not work and there was no hot water one morning, however staff were very apologetic and it was rectified quickly. Convenient location for station and city centre.

It Met Our expectations
Good value for money, adequate and clean room with comfortable bed. The staff were helpful & pleasant. The only downside, the room was too hot, even with all controls turned to 'coldest' and due to traffic noise, the window could not be opened. Would probably avoid staying Friday to Sundays.

one night only
Stayed over with Grandsons for the Cumbria cup final. Was very impressed with the whole place. There was a nightclub within earshot but it caused us little if a y problems to be honest.
