Sanctum Soho, not quite as exclussive as one would be led to believe.
The room was very small but comfortable.
No coffee or tea making facilities. No inclusive bottles of water but a well stocked fridge with nuts , chocolates etc. All of which are expensive. The roof top bar was empty which may be typical for a Tuesday evening. I did purchase a glass of white wine (£7.50) and a JD with coke (£26.50!) . Somewhat extortionate I thought particularly when I checked my bill in the morning to discover this cost but also a service charge the bar added of £4.25. So £38.25 for two drinks. Thank goodness I did not make an evening of it. The location of the hotel is very good for those into shopping.
Great location, great staff, nice room
Roof top bar and main bar were lovely and staff were very helpful.
Even after check out we left our bags in order to look around regent st. Walking distance from regent ft, Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square. Good price for central London.
The hotel is very well situated for Oxford Street, Piccadilly and Soho.
The hotel were very accommodating in allowing us to leave our suitcase with then whilst we went site seeing and very nice to have a late check out on the Sunday morning. I think it would have been nice to have been shown the room and not just told where to locate it.
The bar area was very comfortable to relax in after an evening out.
Paid 772 Pounds for 2 days.
The shower only had boiling hot water. The tv didnt work, staff came up to the room and also couldnt fix. The air-con did not work. Technical help was sent and still no help. When I complained about it the hotel staff shouted at me and said they have never heard about these issues in their 5 years at the hotel. So I paid the full bill and just left, never to go back again !!
Friday one night stay
Very friendly staff, good service, clean stylish room.
Not what I expected! Very grumpy staff!
Bath tub broke after I had filled if...maintenance turned up a long time later', over priced for the size of room and we had one of the junior suites.
Would not stay here again.
great quirky hotel and very unique - a pleasure to find something different.
Room was spacious, bed was the best Ive slept in in London, and the roof top bar was ideal for a late night G and T and a cigarette. Top marks indeed - will definitely be back !!
Great intimate hotel with quirky fittings and helpful staff right in the centre
This is a great intimate and quirky hotel to stay in for a break in the city.
I read quite a few reports of how noisy it was but we stayed on the second floor and apart from the city noise, it was great and quiet. the beds are really comfortable and the staff are lovely. Breakfast is at a convenient time (being served until 11am). Great to have a lie in. Jacuzzi wasn't in use in October on a Tuesday evening but the roof top terrace bar was busy and inviting. I would recommend a stay here, a bit pricey but then London is!
Everything was great.
The shower was an absolute pain to get right. Why so weird. Simple design would be much better
A thoroughly delightful little find right in the heart of London, A few minutes walk from both oxford street , Carnaby street , china town and the west end shows.
Highly recommended. I stayed here with my daughter for a few days away and the staff were very friendly and welcoming, we had a fab time from the moment we arrived, nothing was too much trouble and we felt well looked after. We stayed in a Deluxe room which was very comfortable and had a silver and black theme, bathrobes and slippers were provided which just added to the overall experience. I will definitely be bringing my husband next time as we are both rock fans and the hotel had a great musical feel, we even saw a few celebs while enjoying our coffee !. delightful
I highly recommend this hotel and would like to say a big thank you to Michael and all the staff for making our experience so fabulous
