Excellent for the money
Can't comment on the food because I left too early for breakfast but the room was comfortable, the shower worked fine and it was ideal for my needs. Hotel is v well situated for the town centre (15 min fast walk to the bus station), not the smartest part of town, but you gets what you pay for.

Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff
A down to earth, friendly and extremely good value for money place. Only 20 minutes walk from the 'toon' if you want the city life. I like the cafe area where breakfast is served before becoming a Bentley's cafe later in the morning. Why not give it a go, and I might see you there next time I'm working in the 'toon'.

Enjoyable stay
10 mins in a taxi from Central railway station £5. Its not too far from city centre and there is a choice of at least 4 buses with one every few minutes costs £3.80 for an all day ticket. Too far to walk to city centre. Nice hotel, Warm welcome, clean small basic room with flat screen telly, reasonably priced, you get what you pay for. Comfortable bed, window that opens, as it gets a bit warm. Hotel is on a main busy road though so if room at the front you will hear traffic if window is open. Could hear someone snoring through the wall so walls not very thick and plenty of creaking floorboards. No kettle in room as there is a lounge with kettle, microwave, fridge, sink, cutlery, 2 leather settees and a telly which you have the freedom to use. All in all like being at home. It has a coffee show on the ground floor where you eat breakfast which you have a choice of cereal and cooked breakfast. Plenty of food takeaways near by and a lovely Chinese takeaway below hotel. Great place to stay.

Fantastic value
For £100 for two nights for two people this guesthouse was great! There is a personalised limousine and a bowling alley and arcade right next door! The shared bathrooms were really clean and the room was nice (except for the used condom packet under the bed). Would recommend anyone under 25 visiting Newcastle for a weekend on the tiles to stay here :)
