Room cleanliness
I have stayed at this hotel several times without issues. This time we were presented with an adjoining room which we did not feel comfortable with. Also there were stains on the wardrobe mirror and one of the walls had stains running down it as though water had flowed down it from above. We did not feel this was acceptable at £100 per night.
However, reception were very apologetic and exchanged rooms.

Friendly, professional and luxurious
Stayed here for just one night with my partner. Great location for just nipping on to the M62 for birstall retail park and the eateries there. Hotel looks very luxurious inside, especially when you often pay more for a travelodge. Staff are very friendly and helpful, offering to book you a table and phoning soon after you get in the room to make sure everything is okay with it. A nice touch. Would stay here again, without a second thought.
