Disappointed!!
The Hotel itself was very welcoming from the outside and the patio and garden areas were very well kept and attractive. The breakfast was excellent - a good choice and very well presented. However, the room we were appointed was in an outbuilding, very, very small, dark and cold - even at the end of June !!!! Infact the bed linen was so cold it almost felt damp. We were extremely disappointed with this room when the rest of the Hotel rooms looked wonderful and very spacious. It would seem that these smaller rooms are allocated to those of us who use the late booking sites and/or discount sites which we feel is extremely unfair and is also not stated when booking, We really did feel like 'the poor relatives'. Such a let down for what, on first sight, looked a very impressive Hotel.!!!!!!!!

A very welcomed change
If I could mark it out of 10, all aspects of the hotel would be on plus marks.
We could not fault the evening meal. The taste just blended so well and such a full range of courses.
There is a full menu list for your breakfast, I believe I have never seen so much food on offer.
The bed rooms where cheerful and very clean, as are the bath rooms.
The very helpful staff made it a hotel to go back to.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Room was very simple, similar to bigger commercial hotels. No air con which have been a welcome. Food was good.

Meal in bistro very good but wedding function on at same time so could only sit at our table in bistro although this was fine for us but can imagine it could be a problem to others
