Excellent find
Stayed for two nights when working in area. Very reasonably priced. Very large comfortable room located at the side of the pub. Very good food. The homemade carrot cake is delicious. The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Great value. No complaints. Would call again.
Tidy, sizeable room. Accommodation right next to main road and rail lines but no noise whatsoever. Well glazed. Clean room, clean bathroom. Not an amazing shower but not the end of the world for short stays. Pub food lovely was lovely and menu varied. Decent prices. Staff friendly although maybe short of time on occasion. If quiet the pub can shut anytime between 9 and 11, just to make people aware. But rooms comfortable enough to lounge in. Would stay again. Ideal location for visiting Northumberland attractions.

a good base if exploring the area , your own front door , no lock out time which is a good point but the bar/restuarante is still close by if you want a quiet meal
