Stay in Barrow
This hotel is lovely and full of charm.
The rooms are very comfortable and large. Had an evening meal which was beautiful and breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The staff were very helpful especially the reception staff who couldn't do enough. There was also free parking which is always a bonus. Would stay her again and recommend to colleagues, friends and family.
One night stay for two
My partner and I stayed for one night at for mentioned accommodation and as soon as we came through the entrance we were treated at guests of honour, the accommodation was 10/10 and the free breakfast was outstanding.
Both my partner and I have agreed to stay again in the near future and can not place a fault with the hotel definitely 11/10 in my books
Good location, large size room amd ensuite bathroom and comfortable bed, quiet at night despite being right in the heart of the town.
Breakfast good, poached egg was great. Worth a stay. if you are looking to stay in a larger Cumbrian town then this hotel is a good choice.
Very clean, nice rooms.
Received great service from the staff when checking in and out. Breakfast was okay nothing special but was a good stay overall.
From the moment we arrived till we left, the hotel staff were welcoming and friendly.
Couldn't do enough for you. Would definitely stay there again if ever down that way.
Lovely hotel just a real shame about the location.
Didnt leave the hotel and it was like been on an iduustrial estate.
We stayed here for one night as a treat for my husbands birthday.
The hotel was beautiful, and the food was divine. We had a very enjoyable relaxing weekend.
Lovely clean hotel, shame that couple issues let our stay down.
Arrived Christmas day, had to look for someone to check is in after 5 minutes waiting at reception..
Room was lovely, bathroom spacious and clean. Bed very comfortable. The room we were given was room 10 right on the road so was quite noisy at times, also 1 of the other guests in decided to have an argument which we could hear after midnight not ideal. If was to stay again wouldn't like to be put in that room. Breakfast and bar staff were really nice and couldn't do enough for you. I didn't eat much of the breakfast as parts were quite dry sausage black pudding and the fried bread. It wasn't busy so no excuse really for how dried out the food was.. Only seemed to be someone on reception early morning.. No smiles no good morning afternoon etc. no eye contact at all. The young lad that booked us in was the only 1 to say good afternoon. Stayed in a couple of hotels in Barrow in Furness and I prefer the budget hotels than this one. 1st impressions are made when you walk through the door for the 1st time. Unfortunately 1st impressions weren't very good as unmanned reception desk and 4 staff standing in the bar chatting to me isn't a good impression.
