Got what we paid for
The staff was friendly and even fun to have a joke with, they were helpful to people not from the area.
The rooms are basic but it was only to put my head down after my day out. I was shocked at how clean and functional the bathroom facilities where considering they where shared.
The drainage system needs thoroughly overhauling.
Hotel is cheap and not cheerful.
Showers and toilet are down the corridor. It was full of contractors wearing filthy clothes. Not recommended for ladies or business men.
Very comfortable, great value for money
Perfect for last minute stay for one
Very comfortable , very good value for money
Metro Inn Newcastle
Disgusting rooms were freezing cold never cleaned would have rather slept in my car thought it would have been decent it was cheap but still wouldnt stay had to book another hotel.
Metro inns huddersfield is 5* compared to this would not recomend
Only good for sleep and the 3 close bars and a cracking Novotel bar open till late.
u have to be drunk to sleep in there, 3 off us in a ships cabin. avoid.
Excellent BASIC accommodation
Down to a price, but clean, warm and comfortable.
Accommodation is basic, and my room would have been a little bit cramped if it had had 3 people in it. Toilets and bathrooms are separate and shared. No kettle in the room, but there are coffee machines in reception and a kitchen with a kettle. The kitchen was messy and needed cleaning (I checked in at 11.00 p.m.), however it is a shared facility and guests are expected to clean up after themselves, but obviously fail to do so. You can't blame the hotel for that. If you want to travel on a budget and can remember to take your own jar of coffee and food, I couldn't recommend it higher.
Bonus we could smoke in room.
I found the accommodation very basic.
My own fault for not getting more info before booking. Used to tea and coffee making facilities, not even a kettle. Three vending machines in reception, one for cold drinks, one for crisps sweets etc. and one for hot drinks, which of course was essential but out of order. So no kettle, no caffeine, a real struggle. No En-suite, again something I took for granted.
