lovely little put with clean and neat rooms.
my only issue is that they only offer breakfast between 9am and 9.30am. unfortunately being away on business this is no good for me. if they were to offer earlier breakfast then I would happily stay again.
Felt like inmates, wish we could have left.
Stayed 1 night only.
Room (12) very small and cramped - not even space to walk round the bed on one side. Traffic noise loud as room is next to a busy road; added to which there is no sound insulation between neighbouring rooms, so you will hear everything through the walls. None of the rooms are in the original hotel, they're all in converted outbuildings in the grounds, and 3 are right next to the busy (even through the night) main road. Amenities low, no telephone, no internet, no hand soap in bathroom, only 10 sheets of toilet paper (plus a spare half a roll). Dirty toilet paper on bathroom floor. Nowhere to put bags or suitcases except on the bed.
When going into restaurant to eat, we were told there were no tables available and we couldn't eat there; despite having a room in the hotel. Ended up driving 4 miles to a much nicer establishment to eat where we wished we could have stayed instead.
Needless to say, we will not be returning.
